JOY SMILEY ZABALA, ED.D. has been in the field of education for more than forty years. After many years of involvement with assistive technology, Joy joined CAST (Center for Applied Special Technology) to concentrate on accessible instructional materials and Universal Design for Learning and their relationship to assistive technology.
